Emdom/MM Gen 2 PMC

The Emdom/MM Gen 2 PMC (Padded Multi-purpose Case) is a design collaboration between Emdom USA and MM from www.militarymorons.com. The Gen 2 PMC was originally designed at the request of SWAT Officer Mike P. who wanted a protective case that carried ten to twelve standard capacity rifle magazines (G36, AR-15/M4/M16, AK, etc.) that could be tossed to team mates as an ammo resupply or to protect magazines if dropped or sliding around in a vehicle. More features have been added to the design to make the PMC much more versatile and truly multipurpose. Although ideal as a padded protective case for multiple carbine/rifle magazines, the PMC is well suited for accommodating weapon accessories, optics, electronic devices, medical supplies, etc.

Dimensions and internal capacity:
The Gen 2 PMC measures 14" long x 9" tall x 3" deep. It will accommodate up to thirteen AR-15/M4/M16 standard 30 round capacity magazines, ten AK standard 30 round capacity magazines (nine US Palm AK30 magazines), or eight G36 (clipped together) standard 30 round capacity magazines.

Protection:
The Gen 2 PMC features thin but dense padding on all sides. A full sized sheet of HDPE plastic stiffener is sewn into the back panel for support. A second sheet of HDPE plastic stiffener is sewn into the top panel for load support when carried by the carry handle or shoulder strap (attached to the top two metal D-rings).

External features:
A dual zipper opening that runs up one side, along the top, then down the other side, allows the front panel to be opened out completely. Dual heavy duty YKK zippers feature 550 paracord pulls. On the front panel is a transparent side opening pocket for a card or ID label identifying contents or owner.

Carry/mounting options:
A carry handle at the top of the PMC is made from a single length of 1" wide webbing that extends down the sides and is reinforced with multiple box stitches. A 2" wide detachable/adjustable shoulder strap is included and can be attached at four metal D-rings – two sewn into the back panel towards the bottom and two sewn into the carry strap webbing towards the top – allowing multiple carry options. Four 1" wide webbing common loops are sewn into the back panel, allowing the PMC to be attached to a pack or armor carrier utilizing slotted buckles (not included) or ITW GhillieTEX GrimLOC’s (sold separately).

Internal features:
Four out of six sides of the interior of the PMC are fully lined with loop Velcro: the entire front panel, back panel, and each of the longer sides. Included are three 2” wide stiffened dividers which are lined with loop Velcro on each side and hook Velcro tabs at each end which secure them to the loop Velcro lined sides of the PMC. Most any hook Velcro lined accessories can be utilized as well.
