Emdom/MM Hippie Panel

The Emdom/MM Hippie Panel is a design collaboration between Emdom USA and MM from www.militarymorons.com. The Hippie Panel is a specially designed low profile, light weight, ambidextrous, hip mounted MOLLE/PALS leg platform. It is ideal for mounting pouches that would normally be blocked or covered by the bottom of an armor carrier when mounted to a belt. It is designed to ride as high as possible so as to allow quick and easy access to pouches mounted to it without hindering hip movement. For some, the Hippie Panel positions standard capacity 30 round AR-15/M16/M4 magazines at the most optimal height for efficient access.

Low profile panel:
The Hippie Panel is not padded to be as thin and slim as possible. Two stiffening sheets of HDPE plastic keep the panel's shape to support items mounted to it. The panel features 4 columns x 3 rows of PALS webbing and is optimized for mounting two single AR-15/M16/M4 magazine pouches. The PALS column are 1.6" wide instead of the normal 1.5" to accommodate slightly wider pouches e.g. ITW FastMag and .308 magazine pouches. The back of the panel is covered with a non slip material.

Attachment:
The top of the panel has two 1" wide straps with Velcro and snap closure for attaching to MOLLE/PALS battle belts or duty belts up to 2.75" wide. The thigh strap is 1.5" wide and is removable/reversible for left or right side use. The portion of the strap behind the panel is secured with Velcro and two fold over Velcro tabs at each end. The strap has a side release buckle and is adjustable with a 1.5" tri-glide. The strap is elastic and has two non slip rubberized lines on the inner side running along its entire length which keeps it from slipping out of adjustment.
